It is very hot topic to discuss Fake Iphone, which called “Similar Iphone” officially in beltal. When our team member, AKA China wholesale fans, digging high margin product in beltal, we do find Iphone. You can also easily found it by typing Iphone in the search bar. However, as you saw in the page, it always was in the sold out status.
Then it came to our minds that it was just a page for SEO ( AKA they use this page to get the high position in Google to attract you to visit the site) .
It is a good marketing strategies, though most of the west companies will ignore this marketing methods, even it do not belong to evil.
Most of the user will use search function in the site, then more “iphones ” pop up! What is more beltal has a category called “Hiphone”, it is more powerful copied item!
I dear to say the crazy Chinese manufacturer just fully copy everything of Iphone. The based function is the same, you will feel just a little slow using the touch screen. You can also “shake” the iphone to receive the call.
I had confirmed with my Chinese friends, they told me that this Iphone similar “Hiphone” was also selling in China , even in some national TV Shopping channel.
However, this product do not have warranty, people should be clear when they make the decision!

Recently we got confirmed information about Alibaba`s wholesale website. Alibaba is the leading b2b company. They recently launched two new services in the manager stage : wholesale services and Alipay.
We think that alibaba will soon launch a Beltal similar platform, such as other wholesale marketplace, dhgate ,tradetang. The advantage for alibaba is they have payment settlement tool : alipay. According to its official financial report, the Paypal similar thing handle 90 Billion RMB transaction in 2008,1/3 of the ebay GMV!
However, we think it will alibaba more time to become the bellwether for right now the china wholesale market is becoming mixed up by the fake products.

Baltal.com registered in 2005. You can get the infomaction from domaintools.com. However, some people may not know their paypale verified paypal account setted up in 2003 in their Paypal profile. It made no sences for a company have their payment account verified before their have the login email domain.
It may be a long story , I think it would be similar the following situation: The website administror registered a paypal account and got verified in 2003. After they owned the Beltal.com domain, they just swfit the login email to payment@beltal.com.
It is very common in online business, people just see how many years that Paypal showed but without researchging the domain registration info.
The reason I post this interesting dicrepancy for I think Beltal`s people may start ebay busy very early, it could be an advantage for them.
I have to say they are very young.
